Our Story
A teaching that became a charity.
Hazrat Sayyid Muhammad Abdullah Shah — known and loved as Hazrat Diwan e Hazuri — was a luminary of the Qadiri Sufi order and a deeply devoted lover of Ghawth al-Azam Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (rahmatullahi alayhima).
His life was a lesson in khidmat — selfless service to creation for the sake of the Creator. He taught that true closeness to Allah is found not only in the mihrab of the masjid, but in the doorways of the poor.
DHT was founded to carry that teaching into the present day. Every meal we serve, every well we dig, every child we educate is offered as a humble continuation of his mission.
